Antique Westclox Pocket Watches

Many people remember when they used to watch movies and the see the train conducter pull out his watch, and then he waves his hand at the driver. Well many of those times it was a antique Westclox watch. They were a reasonable price but often they were passed down throughout generations.

I remember when my grandpa gave my mom one of those watches. He told her to give it to the son that he knew she was gonna have someday. And about 11 years after I was born. when I was 12 she gave it to me and to that day I held on to it, even though it's not a Westclox it still means a lot to me.

Westclox made there first watch in the year of 1899. The earlier models usually had "Ben" in the name. On the watches inside the glass it said "The American".

Today you might see your grandpa with a Westclox pocket watch. But sometimes you might see a young person with one of the on. If in any case you do, ask him where he got that watch, and he might just tell you it was passed down to him.
